Historic trains are returning to Friuli Venezia Giulia, offering a chance to travel whilst rediscovering the value of time, letting oneself be carried along by the slow rhythm of the Centoporte carriages, and enjoying a cultural and natural experience that bridges the past and the present, on a journey of great human and regional significance.

 

Timetable for heritage trains in the region

 

The first event is on Sunday 12 April, featuring the Spring Festival Heritage Train, travelling from Trieste to Latisana, to mark the Latisana Spring Festival – the annual fair offering food and wine tastings, live music, a flower and plant market with selected vendors, children’s shows and travelling entertainment, dance performances and much more.
