Saturday 11 July, from 9.30 am to 1.00 pm, at the Beach Village in Lignano Sabbiadoro (beach office no. 6, Lungomare Trieste, 7), as part of the campaign “ The sea is their home”, LAV’s special initiative returns, entirely dedicated to the protection, understanding and respect for marine animals and their fragile habitats. An event to reflect, learn and have fun together, rediscovering the beauty of the sea through the eyes of its inhabitants.

Sunset Yoga Experience

Friday 10 July, at 7.00 pm,Departing from Marano Lagunare (Piazza C. Colombo) aboard the LadyE, you will head to a picturesque casone in the Marano Lagoon, where instructor Maddalena Macor will lead a yoga session at sunset, followed by a pleasant aperitif.

The event is for charity: the proceeds, after deducting expenses, will go towards projects run by the charity “Amici di Luna & Sam ODV” in support of animals.

Bike Tour Lignano – Villa Manin

An exclusive e-bike tour through history and nature.

Set off from the Bike Point in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Beach Office 7, Lungomare Trieste, 9) to reach the Darsena Porto Vecchio (Viale Italia), from where you’ll set sail by ferry for Marano Lagunare. Once you’ve left the village, you’ll cycle along flat back roads until halfway through the route, which passes through the spring-fed lands, Then you arrive at Villa Manin, where you can visit the exhibition Ruota libera.

 

Distanza: ca. 65 km

Every Thursday, from 9.30 to 19.30.

42nd Edition of the Hemingway Prize

From Thursday 25 to Saturday 27 June, the Public Library (Via Treviso, 2) and Cinecity (Via Arcobaleno, 12) in Lignano Sabbiadoro will host a programme of events dedicated to literature, philosophy, photography and current affairs.

Journalists and writers will be in conversation with this year’s award winners: Niccolò Ammaniti, Burhan Sönmez, Giada Messetti, Paolo Crepet and Paolo Gasparini.

 

Attendance at the meetings and the awards ceremony is free of charge, although booking is recommended (until 25 June).
